Haven't Been Having Much Luck

All I know is the stock bolt pattern is 5x115. I've read people run patterns between 114-115 and they are a tight fit but hold. I'm a little skeptic of sizes that differ from the factory 115. I would wonder:
- Is it stressing the hub bolts in a manner they should not be stressed?
- Depending on the rim, when putting lugs on and off, will the socket rub? My 18's are the correct bolt pattern, but the cavity where the lugs sit in is so tight, if it was off by a little bit, I'm sure I'd be rubbing that cavity.
But looking at the car those wheels are on, how WIDE are the wheels? I think our stock wheels are about 17 inches wide. I'd hate to spend that cash on the wheels and find they look like bicycle wheels. And lastly, is there any concern of offset?

lol, 17 inches wide would be enough for two tires on there lol.. I think you meant 7, but they're actually 6.5, at least mine are.

I don't think I would pay that much. As far as the pattern goes, it gas been done and is done. Some people say don't while others say do. For the price, I would just wait and find what you really want. Don't settle just because today you can't find what may be for sell tomorrow. Heck, Mine were only $518 shipped and were much cheaper in a 16. If you want sellers ID I can get it. he carries all different varieties.

I've ran the 114.3 Bolt pattern as well on 18x9 Mustang Bullitt rims, with +34 offset..have stock on now for the winter, but have had no problems with my bullitts at all..and love them
Way I see it, the stock size @ 115 would give a circumference of 361.28, and 114.3 gives 359.08. Thats 2.2 mm smaller around the entire circumference. Really not that much of a difference in my book. Others may differ in opinion of course.
I personally don't know why chevy is using the 115 as a stock size, as 114.3mm equates to 4.5 inches..perhaps because made in Canada

I say get them, and if you don't like how they look, turn around and sell them for a profit. I know what those rims are worth and I would like to see a monte sitting on enkeis.

Paint me skeptical if you wish, but with the value people seem to put on those rims I'd be a bit suspicious considering the low sale price. They may look okay, but is one (or more) bent? Do they not seal properly and leak? Something just doesn't seem right.
As far as the 114.3 wheel on a 115 pattern goes, I was also concerned and inquired with several tire shops and wheel manufacturers prior to purchasing my wheels. None of them had any reports of a problem. In fact, some of the wheel manufacturers list the 114.3 wheel as fitting the Monte Carlo with a 115 pattern. I have been running 114.3 wheels for a while now with no problems. YMMV...

Thanks to 77gp, I found the right wheel, mostly because I like the way it looks from seeing it on his monte. Mine will be 1" smaller at 17", but I think they'll still look good. At $429 it's one heck of a price.
