i ordered new tires for my monte and the type of rubber is goodyear eagle gt. the reason why i ask is if there is any one here use them or used them for there monte and how was the ride??

 

They were great, but they only lasted 11,000 miles. Treadwear was terrible!!!

 

I bought my Eagle GTs 2.5 years ago and I hope I don't have to replace them before I get rid of the car. I have approx 27k on them.

 

I had them on my Burban they do wear pretty quick !

 

SUPER TIRES!!! I have those on my stock rims. They ride incredible. You will be pleased. I painted the "Good Year" logos yellow on the tire and they look awesome. I have them on my 87 Aerocoupe now on some 92 camaro rims. Check it out.

 

I'd have to agree the treadlife isn't that good!

i had the goodyear eagl gt's before but on anouther car they lasted as long as i didnt constently spin the tires. but i was wondering how they were with the heavy beaasts that we have how they felt as well as the life of the tire
