Several years back I bought a set of the five spoke "twistys" from a 98'ish Trans Am for my Z28. (They were take off wheels from SLP) Needed a new set of tires, got the Goodyear Eagles and a set of rims for less then anyone in town wanted to sell me the tires for. Tires still had the little rubber nubs on them from the factory so they were all but brand new. I had asked about SLP's center caps with a bowtie but the CSR told me they wouldn't fit... Oh well the wheels have ABS on them not the arrowhead so no harm no foul! I like the wheels better then the stock "salad shooters" that came standard make the car different yet it's still genuine GM.

Think the five spokes have that classic Crager look with a modern twist to them (no pun intended). For factory wheels I think they look sharp!

You got a great deal (free!). IIRC those wheels are actually the lightest 16" wheels available for the w-body (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). I wish I could find a "free" set of those things.

Plus it does look good, which is a bonus.

def esp cuz they were take offs that were never used...the guy bought the car then put his own aftermarkets on it..then sold the car and forgot he had the stock wheels in his basement...so they only have like ten miles on them lol

i had a chance to try them on my monte last week. i was going to use them for track, but due to the rain the track was cancel. i took some pics so you all can see how they look on a lowered monte. imo they look butt ugly in person.. i thought they would look good but guess not.
