Default GMPP Strut Tower Braces

I just bought the GMPP Strut Tower Braces for my 04 for $29.64. =) A PAIR of them!

So sometime next weeknight, once it hopefully warms up, I'm gonna drill, and install, my front strut tower brace.. (rear isn't something I want right now..)

Just figured I'd let you guys know how CHEAP they are letting them go for...

mine were $38 for the pair (cost + 10%) still haven't installed em yet as i want to do suspension work anyway. and installing the rear STB involves removing the struts to drill.

should have been 31 dollars then.

$28 list x .10 = 2.80

28+2.80=30.80 plus tax.

I know I paid a little more for my ZZP braces, but they were an EASY bolt on brace, at least the back was. The front was 1/4" short, and I had to mill them out on a Bridgeport mill, but that was easy for me. Still better that drilling the holes.
And don't you have to remove the struts to bolt those in? My '01 SS LE had that strut from the factory, and it had nuts welded to the underside if the strut tower.

only the rear struts. it says the fronts can stay on while you drill i believe.

I just got the front from GM, and the ZZP brackets.

It greatly reduces body roll of the car, and it gives the steering a tighter sportier feel, i love it, and highly recommend it, i'm going to get the rear soemtime
