Default Favorite All season tire?

So I am currently looking to get some new tires since when I got the car it has winter tires on the front and some weird all season brand that I have never heard of, called Fierce, on the back. I live in North Carolina so we don't really see a lot of snow. It's one of those things where even if it happens, unless we get a ton of snow, it just melts after a day or so. So I figured I would look into some All season tires. What are your favorite tires what have you guys had good luck with as far as how long they last and all that good stuff? I have only ever bought tires once and that was back with my old thunderbird about 12 months ago or so. So I don't really have any clue on what brands are really good or anything like that really. My dad has always told me that some of the best brands out were Dunlop, hoosier, and michilin. What are your guys' opinions?

My opinion is just look for the highest treadwear rating you can find with decent traction and temperature.

To an extent. I prefer a <650 treadwear on a w-body since they eat tires. Along with A temperature and A or AA traction. My current favorite are Pirelli P4's. Michelin Primacy MXV4 are also a good tire.

Goodyears suck. Had so many out of round it's not even funny.

After 42 years of driving, I've bought every brand of tire out there. Right now,I have Goodyears , and have had for a while. I've had the BEST luck with Goodyears.

I've heard people say that same thing before, but they continue to buy their tires at Walmart. I personally think Walmart sells 2nds. I don't think it matters what brand you buy there.

You're buying tires at a reputable tire store like Discount Tire aren't you?

When my Goodyear Eagle GTs crapped out w/ less than 30k miles on them I went to Discount Tire and got an awesome deal on Falken Ziex ZE-612 for my 05SS. Ran them through the winter and they performed great.

I'd say Goodyear Duratracs but I don't think they'd fit a Monte
