So I found a set of 4 KYB Adjustable AGX struts with new top plates, new isolators, new bearings and new Vogtland lowering springs for $500
Is that a good deal?

my set up currently is Sprint lowering springs and they're the same drop as Frank listed, not the same price however, i used KYB struts with it and that's all i did, car dropped about 1.75 inches all around after 5000 miles or so, i haven't had not one issue with this set up yet, didn't need an alignment and i didn't get any shorters dog bones, bushings etc etc.

oh i am still running the stock 16" wheels, 20's might be a problem being that low....

im really disappointed right now
did you get an instant difference when you installed your rears? mine didnt drop at all the front on the other hand turned out so sexy im runnning stock struts :p still wondering if the rear springs have to settle or something though. its kind of strange im running my 16's since the guy said i'll need them to do a proper alignment and i dont think i'll need an alignment for now though lol so i'll get my 20's back on probably tomorrow. also didnt get any of that engine vibration nonsense haha :p

Frank, the front and rear should both settle more than they did already, usually after like 300-500 miles or so.

So i removed the springs today lol i got in contact with the ebay user and he told me they might've been defective once i return them i'll be getting a new set and hopefully that does the trick :p
in the meantime i was able to find a brand new set of front strut assemblies on craigslist for only $60! the ones i was planning to use were used the rears are still good though. now i just have to wait till i get another set of springs

here's some pics of the struts when they were on the monte, they looked pretty good in there

here's the new front ones i got today

and the front when it was lowered
