i want to put 22s on my 01 MC, but someone told me they rub against the rear struts and you have to pound the struts like crazy to get them to fit. is this true? because there are alot of MCs in this thread with 22s. he said 22 x 8.5 would be the best fit, but I dont want to smash out my struts. that sounds crazy.

I have an 06 that is the same color. I LOVE these wheels man! How much with tires? You think 20s could go on without having to lift the back? How deep is the lip?

Would you do me a favor and post more far away shots like this one? Thanks!

VERY NICE!!

thanks man. i'll post some more pics later, the rims have about a 2inch lip. the package i went with ran be about 2400 including the struts wheels/tires w/extended warranty on both and tire pressure/temp monitoring system(in az that is necessary). But yes the 20's should fit without a problem with the stock suspension. You should look at 20x8's so they sit flush with the car.

i want to know if there is a way to do it without having to replace struts. if i have to pound the struts a bit i will, or if it just needs a lift. i mean im sure theres ways to make these fit without too much difficulty or extra money.

yea it can be done but make sure it a pro doing it they usually use a jack to bend them to insure they are bent equally on both sides instead of just pouding it. But that is a temporary fix you dont want to drive around too long on a strut bent like that when it wasnt designed to be.
