Drop it??
Sure there is, they even have them bigger than that too! But I won't waste any more of your time with that topic....I say go bigger rims. If putting a slightly larger tire on would cause rubbing with your current setup, lowering it would be in essence the same thing.
Well i slowly but surely wanna do a complete overhaul of the car with a suspension brake system, drive train and tranny that can handle a lot of power cause after i put the new engine in it its gonna be a sick car and thanks for the picture posts space....
why would you need wider tires if all you want to do is close up some of that wheel well gap? You would just have to get taller tires, not wider, right?
i say lower it, I plan on lowering the front of mine 3" and ther rear either 2 or 3". I wouldn;t go with anything larger than 18's on gbodies, they just dont look good imho. and they do make 18" Irocs if you like the wheel pattern.
Also, you can get as wide as 9", some have gotten as wide as 9.5", but it was close and dependant on the wheel and tire and suspention set up. anything beyond that the frame needs to be notched
hope that helps

I wish I could find the 18 inch Iroc wheels and I thnik my wheels are actually 9 inch wides cause the one wheel in the rear actually rubbed on the frame i thought maybe my rear shifted or the frame was bent but the auto shop said some cars are made like that its not noticable or nothing tho....... but yeah I think the 18 inch Irocs would look sick on my car

If you current set of IROC's are a full set from a Camaro, that would be the reason why it is rubbing. I believe all of them are 8" wide, but the offest on the rears are different than the fronts, so that is what is causing the rubbing. For the Monte's, when using original GM IROC's you need 4 front rims.
American Racing makes the knock off IROC's, and I believe that thre may be a could others that make some too, but those will fit the Monte perfectly
This is just one site, look around they may be cheaper some place else
