I'm currently having the same issues with my cv axles. Was told by the very reputable (The Driveshaft Shop) to get the A/C/ Delco brand. But ONLY from a reputable dealer as there are knock off A'C Delco parts floating about. So I'm getting mine from a dealership, should be in tomorrow. Mine are about $675 for a left and a right. yeowsa...

I recently redid them on my monte. I picked up some used stock shafts off a lower mileage gtp from a local junkyard (granted I have hybrid shafts with the 5th gen monte outermost portions).

I had a Napa shaft in the drivers side that was giving me problems. Seems like the aftermarket stuff doesnt have the quality metal or heat treat process that OEM does.

So I just took the used stock shafts, put in new boots and grease and it seems to be good so far.
