Did you by chance use the pads that came with those rotors?? I did the same thing and it ate away at my pads also..

Had to go back to my eBay history. These are ECCPP brake pads and rotors.
They seemed well enough, price was right, we did business.
Used the EBC"Yellow Stuff pad, bought the HAWK HP pads and ditched them in favor of the EBC's. To date in 1. 5 years I have perhaps 20 miles on the ones that I drove....
