I painted the hubs on my Stratus black when I got new wheels and it looks alright. Until I got new rotors that is. You could always go with these from R1 Concepts:

The product I used to paint my rotor hubs and calipers on my Stratus is called G2 caliper paint. You can find it on ebay.

 

Wow, those R1's are very sweet looking. The hubs come coated also. But they are very $$ too ($185 for 1).

I know you get what you pay for, but I don't do that much hardcore driving or braking, so I was thinking about these rotors:

I would still have to paint the hubs myself, but 4 rotors and pads for $215 seems easy on the wallet. If anyone has any experience with these let me know.

Other than that, once I get the new rotors I will have to update the pics.

your car looks good dood time to lower it for sure. it looks much better. i have 19" asas on myne and its lowered witht he eibach pro kit. much better looking. i have subs inthe back and there is very little rubbing. but i also folded the wheel well lips in so it raised the skirt up and its been better

 

I have never heard anything about Brake Motive brakes. Give them a good search and see if you can find some reviews. Good luck.

 

Well, just an update. I picked up the cheaper R1 Concept rotors and some G2 caliper paint. I am happy with the results.

I kept the old rotors and might put them back on for the winter, not sure if the zinc plating will hold up to Wisconsin salted roads

 

with the new rotors, it looks better. not sayin it looked bad before!

 

Yes those look very nice - and I see it's raining in Wisconsin as is here! The G2 Caliper paint kit is probably the best kit out there - the paint really holds up well.

 

Those look great. R1's have a good online reputation. G2 caliper paint will hold up very well for a long time. If you don't mind me asking, how much did everything cost?

I got the 4 rotors and ceramic pads for $295. R1 was great to work with and I would buy from them again.

I took it to the shop to install the rotors and that ran me $210 just for labor. I think I will read up on installing rotors because I want to be able to switch out these R1's back to stock rotors for the winter when I put on my winter wheels. Something tells me it might be alot of work though.

The caliper paint was $35. I thought it was pretty easy to paint. I left the calipers on the car and put 1 coat on with a brush. It wasn't the best job, but for the money and time it took I can live with it. I think I will pick up another kit to paint the hubs on my stock rotors.

 

Why would you put back your stock rotors for winter?? Don't you want to stop in the snow too?
