i think you are talking about WIDER not tallerwheels right? i think that if you put wider wheels say like 255's on the front, and keep the stock size on the rear it would help with traction, especially if you got drag radials....but if you mean like a larger diameter on the front, i would say no...i dont think it would look good and if you put bigger wheels on the back, its kinda pointless cuz the car is FWD

i know the grand prix GXP, with the LS4V8,came with staggered wheels stock, to try to eliminate torque steer, the fronts were 8 inches wide and the rears where 7 inches, i believe bridgestone custom made a brand new tire specifically for that model...so i guess that right there is proof of concept

i know a guy who is running 275/45/18s on his GTP...and they just barely fit...but i imagine the traction is awesome

and by the way, i think the rims are gonna look sick anyway

silver, i never thought about bullitt wheels on a monte, but they do look good

Not really wider or taller... I thought staggered meant the design of the rim.. like an overlay / cross of spokes like this

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/pen..._staggered.jpg

http://i2.iofferphoto.com/img/item/6...gtDuOJL17F.jpg

etc...

anyway i came across these.. only if they fit the monte id buy them!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Ri...1%7C240%3A1318

ps.. sorry if I sound confusing but I am learning lol.

I plan to put

245/45/18 on my monte.. simply cant find the rims I really want !! And to think I live in Souther California.. sheeesh! haha

Looks deadly! What offset are the bullitts? Are these bullitts for the '99-'04 Mustangs or for the newer "05 and up models? How's the hub size? Did ya need hub centric spacers? Any special lugs? They fill the fenders perfect. Do you have a picture with the front wheels straight so I can see how they fit within the fenders? Thanks, Steve.

I would stay clear of the staggard rims fora front wheel drive Monte Carlo.
If you want a bit of a staggard look, keep the same size rims all the way
around and use a slightly wider tire for the rear. Although, I don't see why
you would want to do thatunless you had a rear wheel drive Monte.
Some lucky Monte owners have them. I think it would look great for
a rwd Monte Carlo.

I amusing a 245/45/18 tireon all four of my 18x8 inch rims.

these are the only pic i have.
18x9
5x114.3
+34mm
my car is lowered that's why it fit well. i have to roll the fender lip to fit the 255/45 tires. if yours not lower you don't have to worry about rubbing just wheel gap is all you will see. no spacer just bolt right on. the stock lugs will fit over the wheel hole fine. the wheel is from 2005 plus stang.

Do you think +42 mm is too much of an offset?

Awesome, thanks for the info. Did you roll both front and back fender lips?

Silverbullitt:

That Monte of yours looks amazing.
Wicked-fuggin-great!!!

(I wish mine looked like that. I'd feature the all the Badging. I'd have the "Monte Carlo" script air-brushed "Deep Gun Metal Gray" and the SS's "Enzo Rosa" Red. You'll love that Ferrari Red on the SS's.)
