I really am dead set on 8s now. 30s for the same style rim I want on 8s is 4g more. Fu** that. 2inches isn't worth 4000 to me. I found some 8s for 3000 with out tires or paint. And I love them. And when I get this done, I want my car changed from yellow to a bright metallic orange. Brighter than the avalanche. So I'll call the rim king and see what he would quote me.

i would never put 28" wheels on a monte carlo! its gonna look like a monster truck! and for as much fender, bumper, etc you are going to have to cut out there wont be a car left.

That orange Monte is sick. Make yours look like that or of course, better. Never rims to big. Unless they bigger than 32s but IMO that's for wide wheel well cars like camaro, chargers, chalangers, 300s magnums etc and of course trucks

Biggest i would go is 22's IF its a daily driver car or u don't plan on keeping it forever. You need to do cutting, suspension mods and inner wheel well mods with anything bigger. Not to mention when u cut the body you basically made the resale value go to nothing, thats why i stuck with 22's. But to each his own, i love the way big rims look but would hate to junk out a nice car.
Why don't you just get a box chevy or some type of big body, you can do 8's on most of them without even lifting them.

You may want to go with and airbag set up, and definately are gonna have to do a lot of cutting of the body, remove the Fender wells, and redo your whole suspension set up with a custom set up, with bigger wheels it calls for a better suspension, and breaks to handle the extra rim that needs to be turned on the car. I would look at nuisance on similar car, w bodies, and their custom set up.of suspensions. Even trucks could have the same setup you are looking for. Good luck.
