Default 22's on Monte Carlo help

I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS in great condition and only has 63,000 miles on it and I am looking into getting some rims for it by August. I was going to settle for 20's , but to me they look small on wide bodied cars so I am looking into 22's. The one's I am looking at is a 22x8 with a 245/30/22 tire and I want to know if they would fit or will I have to do any modification to my car to get them to fit. I also want to know if they rub I know they will rub on certain turns and when trying to turn when backing into places because my cousin has the same size on his 2003 Bonniville and that is usually the only time it rubs.

I know plenty of people and myself with 2000+ Montes that hold 22s no problem and dont rub at all. First of all its all about the offset of the rim and then the tire. Most of the people I know run 22x9 with a 35mm offset and a 245/30/22 tire. wheelsnext.com has real nice wheel and tire packages and they guarentee fitment or your money back.

So are you saying you didnt have to do any modification at all to not only get those rims/tires to fit but also to also nothing to stop or prevent rubbing? Thats cool if so but thats not been my experience. I have 20's on my 6th gen, 20x8.5, 35 offset, 245/35/20 tires and I get a little rubbing every now and then on the fender lip. I do have a 50-60lb speaker box back there but thats it.

Got a system in your car? Still got your spare in there? How much weight do you think you have back there? Reason I ask is because i'm looking at your sig pic and I wish my car sat like yours, mine is squatting, it's about 3/4" -1" lower in the back than the front
