Default 22's or 20's

Hi Clintin, & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family.
[:-]WoW,That's a Wild Chicago Ride [:-]
Would love to see more pic's of your ride
Have you done any suspension mod's ?
How does it ride with the 20inch Choppers ?
I've seen 22's on a Monte, but I'm not sure what adjustments had
to be made...I will research your question.
Do you drive your Monte in the Snow ?
Look forward to your future posts + more pic's : )
What type of sound system do you have ?
Any mod's to the engine ? etc. ?
Peace/Out/`Space

I have 255/30/22 I have to have my struts modded so that the spring perch clears the tires.

all they do is make the bracket where it mounts at longer giving you more clearance

GO 22'S. THEY WON'T TAKE AWAY FROM THE CAR. THEY'LL LOOK BETTER THAN FACTORY AND THEY WILL FILL THE WHEEL WELL UP. GUARANTEED YOU WILL LIKE THE 22'S BETTER

YOU DON'T WANT TO GET STUNTED ON WHEN SOMEONE IN A MONTE PULLS UP IN A MONTE LIKE YOURS ON BIGGER RIMS, THAT IS NOT A GOOD FEELING.

BUT SERIOUSLY THE 22'S ARE BETTER. MAYBE 20'S 4 OR 5 YEARS AGO

The 22's are better up to the point you have to stear or want to race someone.

You need to modify the suspention as was posted above and the handling will come back.

The problem is the 22's just weigh too damn much. It is harder for the engine to rotate the tires and therefore are always slower than a similar car with stock rims or smaller rims.
