There seems to be some concern out there that 20" rims on a Monte will cause excessive wear and tear on other steeringcomponents. I personally wouldn't risk it and would stay with 18" or less. Whatever you do, make sure you or your tire guy understands the "Tire Pressure" monitoring system. (If your car has it). Read my posting under "My 2007 has finally arrived", in which it tells the problems I have had just trying to ge the optional GM accessory wheel installed on my new 2007 SS. I don't know what problems may be encountered with aftermarket rims considering the crap I have had with factory stuff.
Avoid problems, ask the right questions, believe me, it is a complicated issue, and it seems all manufacturers use a different system.

20's will fit no problem. but if your going to do them, put moog chassis parts on it, and you wont have problems with them wearing out, they will support the 20's, and if there's any problems down the road they have a lifetime warranty on them
so in other words what Revitupfaster said is true unless i get an aftermarket chassis? wow...thats just messed up...what was chevrolet thinking when they made that mess[sm=boohoo.gif]
ill look into the moog chassis....but would 17 and or 18" wheels be ok without modifying the chassis? if so then i might just go with them for a while cause i don't think we have a shop around here that can do it (or at least any that i would trust)
