02 ss rims

Have a white ss from 02 with the ugly stock rims. Looking for new ones. Right now im looking at some either 16 or 17 konig oversteers. Problem is theyre white. Would anyone here recommend white rims on a white car or should i just go more the chrome route? Any reccomendations on rims as well? Looking to spend roughly $150 per rim at most. Heres what the rims look like -http://www.carid.com/konig-wheels/oversteer-white-17194763.html

Welcome to the forum!! :) Those are nice. Are they available in chrome?

jrok1310 01-05-2015 09:11 PM

Thanks, and no only available in the white, black (i believe its gloss could be wrong), and a color they call opal pretty sure its just a gunmetal color except theyre two tone and im not a fan of them.

And sorry the white is just gloss or matte one of the two kinda hard to tell from their cartoon looking picture on the website

I really like the black rims on a white car, but that's just me :)

Yeah see im not a fan of it. Cant stand black rims on white car. And u dont have any suggestions for any rims tht may look nice do u? Preferably chrome and more of a sport look as compared to the luxury side of them.

American Racing has some nice ones!! American Racing - Wheels

Ehhh theyre not for me anything else u might know of? American racing to me kinda makes more of the muscle car style for a car im not trying to make mine a muscle car look.

Well I have the "ugly" stock rims on my '02 SS--i don't think they're the worst, but still not very attractive--and I was looking at these rims. They are popular on the pace car Monte Carlos. I posted about them on MonteCarloForum here and got favorable responses. They are also less than $150 ($148 if i remember correctly) per rim.

I can't think of any other suggestions. The rims that Jack is looking at are nice. I have them on my '02 but mine are not shiny.
