'13 Monte Nationals Pics
Here's my pictures from this year's Monte Carlo Nationals in Richmond, Indiana. 115 registered Monte Carlos and a few more there that were not registered. Those of us that made it were Tadd (Tadcaster) and his wife, David (STUMPMI), Wayne (RocknSS04), Matt (Slugger088), Amy (AwesomeSS), Ashley (Ashley.Marie) and her younger sister and mom, RJ (rj) and his wife, Bob (Bob) and his wife, and myself (06mistreSS) and my girlfriend. Met quite a few people over the course of the weekend, including Amy. We had a few scattered thunderstorms/rain move through the area each day. We did get some periods of decent weather that included the show itself and the entire judging period on Saturday, so I'd say we lucked out. I had a great time this weekend and am looking forward to next year's Nationals in Decatur, Illinois!
Awards: Tadd and Amy both won awards in Gold Class (Amy also got the Extra Effort award), and I won an award in Class 9; 04-07 SS.
This was my first Nationals with my own car; I attended with my parents from 1997-04 when my Dad had his 1972. For myself, this is actually just the second show I have registered for and entered the 06 into; up until this point, I've mostly done just cruise-ins with the car.
The picture's aren't in any specific order, just the order I took them in.
This first pic is from my hotel room the day of the show. If you look hard you can spot most of our cars. From the left; Tadd is fourth in row two, Amy is seventh in row two, Ashley is ninth in row two, I'm fourth in row three (directly across from Tadd), Wayne is seventh in row three (directly across from Amy), Bob is eighth in row three (directly across from Ashley), David is second in row six (against the grass in the back), RJ is third in row 6 (next to David's).

Lastly, here's a few other random pics I got with my phone over the weekend.
This was mine ready for the drive down Friday morning; three layers of painters tape for headlight protection.
Met up with Matt (Slugger088) in Dundee, Michigan for the drive down. Took us about 3 hours to make the trip.
This was Friday afternoon, a few hours after Matt and I got to the show site.
One of the storms that rolled through over the weekend; this one on Friday late afternoon.
The car ready for the drive home this morning.
And finally, the award I won in Class 9; 04-07 SS.
Others with pics they took at Nationals feel free to add here. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for posting a lot of out standing pictures, there were this so many very nice monte carlos there. One day i have too try and make the trip. As owners of theses find 2 door cars with real back seat room we have to try to make theses cars last as long as we can, cause it does not look like GM will ever make the monte carlo again.
