Default Fender Help.

Hi guys My blue oval gnat driving neighbor backed in to me so I need to know if the fender off a 81 monte will fit my 79. price is right easy to replace. I'm not a body man YET. thanks.

No apparently 81-88 are the same fender, it might fit but not the same fender .https://www.dixierestorationdepot.co...spx?d=1003&p=1

Looking at that pic, you may want to have your neighbor pay for you to have a reputable shop fix it. I bet that fender can be popped out and fixed right. In 2013, while I was at the GM Nationals, in my hotel parking lot, someone did a hit and run on my Monte. The front bumper was replaced, but the hood and fender have been repaired, you can never tell anything was done. Here is what it looked like.

It wont fit. I am restoring a 1978 3rd Gen and although close, they are different and will not line up without some fab work. But that looks repairable by a body shop Ill bet.
