I am just wondering if you take the Mufflers off and just go with straight pipes out the rear. If you have any issues with that modification. I have heard some of the Luminas and other GM cars that might have done that and they sound a bit (tinnnyy). :wtf:
I want to avoid that little Muff sound that they put on a little ricers.
With the V-8's I have had they always had some Bark when you put a glass pack on it. A buddy of mine had a 67 GTO 400/ 4 spd. and he rebuilt the engine and then put headers on it and Pipes Straight thru to the rear bumper. That was loud and he got a fix it ticket for it one night. :rotfl:
But it sounded great. :rolleyes:https://montecarloforum.com/forum/at...undrmontea.jpg

That's pretty good that we have basically the same set up...

On a V8.. I always preferred glasspacks in place of the mufflers and then tails all the way out (Unique) sounding!

Heres what I have considered...

Put a glass pack.. in place of the resonator and run the pipes/ tails all the way out..
I may just switch it up... If I can get it repaired and back to normal after last week someone sideswiping mine..

But I like the Tips! (I have the sameones currently as well..

I am sorry to that you got sideswiped.
I am thinking about the tips that have the bowtie shape or maybe even the double bowtie shape. thanks for the input.

Had I known..I should have gotten the larger ones.

If you are going to do straight pipes out the back defiantly get a glass pack where the resonator is, I heard if you don't it just sounds bad.
