Im from Madrid, IA and it has been ridiculously cold out. Where is spring when you need it?

I have been driving the Cruze since 2012, they have all been rental cars and I enjoy them.
However deep snow would shut the thing down, it has a low air dam and the tires don't appear to be all weather.
I do have the benefit of about 3 Million miles driving experience, helps me sometimes, sometimes I am still stupid. I had a KIA last winter for a short drive about 400 miles and the thing was horrible on snow and ice, I traded it for an Impala at the rental car company. Even the rental car guy asked me how I was able to get around. I enjoy driving when the car is sideways, but still I have control of it, part of the racing mentality maybe.
A suggestion in snow is try to drive over top of it, not thru it. Use neutral to straighten your car out in a spin situation.

I drove over from Nebraska on Tuesday last week and it was super cold and I couldn't believe all the cars in the ditch on I-80, I seen a few 18 wheelers that had a real bad time when they wrecked wouldn't have wanted to be driving them.
Hopefully we only have about 8 weeks of winter left?!?!?!

I rarely have trouble getting around but my sister should probably hire a driver...LOL I told her exactly the same thing you said and she still can't get around in the winter. Oh well...I used the kerosene rag quote from Dale on her

He had a whole array of magical slang, that would make you laugh, and it was very descriptive as well.
My 2 favorites are from TV commercials one they asked what made the Chevy Monte Carlo so good, he just said ME! The other was for another Monte Carlo Commercial has TAZ in the back seat, Jr. was at the shotgun side and Dale is shifting the Car and says " Now here, there are 2 ways to do this?
My way and the Wrong way!! love it!
