The Truck I was driving had a standard shift Transmission. That was easier for me to gear down.
When you drive your car in an environment that causes a variation in speeds ( like hills and mountains) you might want to take the car out of the Drive/overdrive gear. Then your transmission won't shift up and down when you hit the magic speed that makes it shift to OD somewhere from 45 to 55. These shifting all the time has a tendency to cause some issues. If you refer to the owners manual it has some tips on this subject.

I'll look at the manual and see what I can find. Zach thanks. Sometimes it's hard to keep your eyes on the road around here. I grew up in Florida so these mountains are absolutely amazing to me.
