Thanks! As for the engine cover, it was recently done and I had a custom shop paint it.

I had a custom shop paint it so I'm not exactly sure what steps or how many of each step they did. I know, in the process, they did get a smooth finish on the cover which is one reason why it's shiny. They did spray an adhesion aid, the red is Victory Red, the black chosen matches the original plastic color of the cover (so it's NOT just straight black), and it's finished with an 80% clear coat.
