New tire stickers. Still waiting on the bottom set which are custom and say "turbocharged." Growing on me so far....cartuning turbo kit arrives this week!

Sweet, you made the leap to Turbocharged. What does your kit consist of? Exhaust Manifolds included? You installing it yourself? Who will tune and dyno it for you? That is going to be so much more enjoyable for you, spool up and blast down the freeway...

What's up with the lettering for the tires, some new thing people are doing?

Looks like it would have to be something one would get used to. Keep us posted on how well they perform... But that is what most of us strive to do, make our Monte's personalized...

Yeah finally, seems like it's taking forever to arrive 😑 the kit comes with the turbonetics t66, intercooler, methanol injection, electric cutout, fuel injectors, shift kit, and a few other bells and whistles. A local shop here in Houston, SeriousHP will be doing the install along with a custom cam. The tire stickers were something to try, I've almost pulled them off twice but I have had people compliment them so I've opted not too for now. I always liked the way the old tires had the lettering. We'll see how it goes

Well now that is a pretty complete kit, even an exhaust cutout! Extra nice, the water meth is going to be important for the big power. So happy for you, your Monte is going to be a whole new experience for you. Will your stock fuel pump be up to the task or is a new one also in the works? You should also have an additional external tranny cooler installed, a decent one by Earls or such. Go to DEX VI fluid too if you have not already done that. I had to put my air filter in the fender well to pull cooler outside air in. Best of luck, hope you are back out on the road soon with your new turbocharged Monte Carlo.

I had to look at your tires a few times, the lettering may work out. Takes some nads to try new things.

The tire lettering isn't for me but I am curious as to how that lettering will stand up over time to the elements and to washing. I have a bristle brush I clean the tires with and I'd be afraid it'd destroy those letters.

I wish Goodyear kept the letter on the Eagles. When I pick some up I might try to color it on or something, hopefully it will show up as well as your stickers do. I'm definitely also interested to see how well they will hold up.
