That is all I ever have found as well, everyone wants the SS and that is what they have made.
I had an 85 Monte similar to yours it was a Brown one served me well, I sold it to one of the fellows who was doing my New Roof back in 94, he needed a car for his daughter to drive to school.

Its the Model GM used to show dealers (made by Brookfield Collections)
before they came out!

This was the only 1999 Monte Carlo Model I could find to build myself. (circle track)

It is not a real good photo of the 85 Monte bought it in 86 it had only 750 miles on it and I ran it up to 195K and then replaced the engine. not bad for that era of car.

looks Good, you probably see this too. But when I go to a Car show it is amazing how many people have a Model of some sort displayed with the Car.

That is so exactly like the full size one. I have seen some photography that someone took that had the Model up close and the full size one a distance away and they both looked realistic. fun stuff.

Back in the day, the Superman Comic books had a story about a RAY gun that was used to enlarge and shrink cities and people. too bad they never invented that yet we could use it to enlarge these models, seems like a good idea.

Wow I have never seen one that color. Yes that is very good mileage for that car.

That Metallic Pink Oldsmobile in the Drive way was the better car, I ran it up to 389K and it would consistently get 35 mpg, with me driving it 85 or better. But after 85 it wouldn't go much faster.
I hated to get rid of it but the computer went bad, and the shop said not to replace it. I wish now that I would have I might still own it.
