Well Keane and I attempted to go to bear mountain NY yesterday. We cruised all the way there and then ran straight into trouble!

Keane met up with us in the Horizon at Jakes Wayback burger! <- best burger place ever!



From there we cruised to his house to snag his 04







Snagged a shot of his 97!



Then off we went to Bear Mountain!
The weather was perfect!









Well we got to near Bear Mountain and ran into this. This pic of after we turned around heading back the way we came.



Traffic into the mountain was back up for miles! It took an hour just to go one mile! We took a different route to a different entrance but that was just as backed up!
Turned out there was some sort of Octoberfest going on at the top of bear mountain. There was no way in or up! Needless to say we were highly disappointed.

Right next to bear mountain is this nice curvy road though we decided to get out of traffic and take that road as kind of a bronze medal prize.
The bridge across the Hudson to the road was awesome.



So much traffic in that area.





We cruised back up the curvy road back across the bridge.





We pulled over to figure out what to do now that we cant get to bear mountain.

We decided the only other cool spot we could go to, was the usual, High Point! haha
It's a silver medal prize for the day but as always, High Point did not let us down.

Here we go cruising to High point! This time Amanda crusied with Keane to get pics of me cruising. We split camera duties that day, she took the cruising ones and i took the ones when we are parked somewhere.



















High Point never lets us down as an awesome spot.

As always, you guys got some nice pics. I've always thought that Bear Mountain area was Very Picturesque. I go up there all the time. My mom has a house in Peekskill. You get a much better view of the Hudson River from the Bear Mt. Bridge than from any other bridge that crosses it. And a Monte Carlo in the for ground makes it much better!

Awsome pics . I wish I could ride with you guys up and down the moutain, esp if my car was lowered, gripping the road...-drool- And those LED lights keane has looks nice !

 

Is it bad that one of the main things that I got out of those photos is that someone (Keane) actually uses the handle on the door while driving?
