Who Has the Fastest Monte on the MCF ?

She needs slicks or drag radials to hook, as these Goodyear F1's just smoke

This definitely got off topic from what Space asked. Oh i know a little fun is ok nothing wrong with that....
I would serious like to see some numbers from time slips and dyno slips to compare. It would give everyone a chance to see what was done to achieve the gain in HP and Torque.
A lot have numbers on their sig but just a few has proving it. I am not saying it does not have that, but if you see it then no doubt is there
A sig with numbers is just saying and not bringing. We all know it is not[sm=ts.gif]or is it????
It does not matter if it is 1900 or a 2007 if it is slow or fast. Be proud of what you have, show it off. That is if you drag race or had it dyno. Which I know we get a Graff or a time slip.
I know if I had my on the track it would be in the high 14"s or 15"s or higher but that is all stock.

I have a timeslip for this run too if you like. It looks different from others, because I had to run up to the tower to get my printout. The guy at the time booth had no printout.
Hi `Rob, Member lav74,
I do not doubt your time slips @ all,
and I appreciate you posting them...4-Sure.
I think `Art, Member 2 quick 4U,
was hoping the MCF member's would post their times,
and what mod's they have done to get those times.
I don't think he was referring to you : )
[:-]
Several Member's posted non-member times,
and pictures of drag cars for `fun.
(There's a lot of stress in our World : )
I also know that time slips can be altered.
But, a person is only as good or bad as the actions
of their words, & posts.
Unfortunately, not all people speak/act/post `true : (,
I believe your slips/post/words, and appreciate your
participation/contributions to our forum.
Peace/Out from `Space

I was not referring to anyone person I have seen all yours" LAV74"and I have said that in my early post so no I was not in anyway doing that. I know it can be altered but that takes the fun out of being a true competitor and it just not right. I was hoping we could get a good forum going to compare mods and how they effect the HP and Torque of the vehicle thats all.
Sorry if it look different then what I posted. Space said it in the above post.

I still think it's a great forum, and I wasn't offended by what you said.. I wasn't trying to stir things up, just to clear the air.
There's some great sites out there that estimate 1/4 mile time based on vehicle weight, and wheel horsepower. It can also calculate your whp based on weight and 1/4 mile time. They're not 100% accurate, but still very close.
I've hit the track and the dyno many times along my modding journey. I'd be glad to find an old post I made from another forum, and post up what mods I had at the time, what I dynoed and what time I ran at the track.

Hi `Rob,I really don't think there are that many MCF Member'sthat are taking their Monte's to the Track. That's why I really enjoy seeing member's like yourselfon the MCF & posting your times/experiences/mod's.Your Awesome SuperCharged Monte Carlo SS, isrunning faster times then the Corvette my grandfatherjust got. The times are close, but your recordedtimes would have it by a few tenths.I think it's great that a 3.8L V-6 SuperChargedcan beat a V-8 Corvette 4 - Sure : )I can't wait to see Member `Keegan's new times : )I'm looking forward to his post on his runs : )I'd be proud/happy to own your SSI sure would love to line them `up, but that's justanother `SpaceDream

I have been waiting to see something on Keegan's ride. He said he has lots of mods done to it and it would be interesting to see some numbers on it.How it was before and now.
His sig looks good. If there is a place where he has some slips point me in that direction. I have seen a video but it does not show anything that can be read.

With good track prep, (less than 1/4 tank of gas, spring blockers on, and 40lbs of air pressure on the rears), on good street tires with a between a 2.0 and 2.1 60' launch, I would say between 12.9 and 13.1 @ 109mph.
On slicks, between a 1.80 and a 1.85 launch, 12.4 to 12.6 @ 109-110mph.
It really depends on the humidity level and the air temps on track day, and the track prep. :-)
I can't wait to see howhe does at the track. I hope he has a fun day... I always have a blast.
Thanks that is awesome on a V6, I know all mods show a little different on any car, Thats is howit works. It might work great on one and not the other.
That is why I ask about this because it shows difference in performance with different cars but with almost the same mods. It is interesting to me to see that since I am
unable to do this drag racinganymore. I been on different forums GM now and even the cobalt is doing pretty good. Ponitac is putting down some good numbers to.
I just like GM been that way a long time.
Thanks for sharing that is what Motoring is all about.
