there's always someone faster no matter what you got....lol. I've got my town and the surrounding areas pretty much sewed up. gonna be getting a little faster soon.just got a Speedtech nitrous system that im itching to install and need about $1,000 morefor the 9" ford rear end. those upgrades will allow me to hang the front tires a few feet off the ground and maximize my combination instead of babying it out of the hole. should be considerably faster and still extremely streetable.

 

Last year with his time slips it showed 12's and I think 106 or 107.. He has it listed on his site. Time slips to prove it...

 

Yeah, we know what he's running. Nobody wasquestioning it. Its in his sig as well. and its 12.5 @ 109

 

Wish I could say I were the fastest Monte, but I'm still struggling to break into 13's. I should have been there by now. Well, now that I have new tires (fresh meat) and a new dual exhaust system on my car, I hope to get at least a 13.99 this year. I'll be happy if I get to a 13.5 and that's the best I could do. Would be even better to get that with my Monte restored and looking good going down the track. I would love to be able to say I have the fastest second generation Monte in the Pacific Northwest. One day I will be. Anyway, my PB is in my sig and I do have a timeslip posted here on MCF.

 

I was supposed to hit the track last weekend, but it ended up raining. I'm hoping to get out within the next few weeks before it gets into the humid season.

The 12.54@109.89 was in July weather... I ended up going later last year, and trapped 110.72mph, but not my best launch though.

If I can get some good runs in this year, I'd besuper happy with a 12.2-12.3. Until then, it's still what's in the sig.

Wasn't there a 4th gen Monte on here with an LS7 in it?
Wonder what he runs.
I have not taken mine to the track. Not sure I ever will.
Maybe when I build my 4th Gen BBC I'll post some times LOL, If I ever get to do that.

 

I just found the LS7 Monte on another forum he ran 11.5 @121.66
I had seen his posts on here whileago.
