you can't chage gear ratio's with it, but you can change the gears and then recalibrate the computer to not go haywire.

i think most of them are changing the shift points now

oh i am sorry didn't mean gear ratio i meant shift points [:@] there are some nice options with it. you can change rev points and other fun stuff.

i was gonna comment that it's pretty hardcore to buy a brand new car and start changing gears in it lol, but hey, it's your car.

lowering springs doesn't actually do anything for performance though does it??? its just for looks isn't it?

handling in most cases. although you can do various things to your suspension to help your performance per se, it will help you get off the line faster. doesn't actually give you more power, just helps you get what power you have to the ground

i was hoping that if i get the springs i will have more down force on my car to get better traction. who knows?

just my opinion, but i would think shorter stiffer springs actually make it harder to hook up.

well i'm not a suspension expert, but here's my thinking. if the springs are harder it's going to keep the cars weight from shifting to the rear on take off. less weight taken off the front wheels it looks like it would make the car hook better. now if it were a RWD car then yeah, weight shifting might be a good thing. but again, suspensions are kind of a mystery to me. i know some basic things, but enough to be dangerous
