he pulled up next to me and we both gased off but left him. I didnt think it could stay with me anyway.
I raced a couple of chargers on the street but not the way I want to. I want to come to a light with one to see what I'll do to it.

(I know that random racing on the street isn't safe, but the supercharged ss makes u stomp the gas. I can't help myself)

Those Chargers are HEAVY cars.... when you consider the fact they've got 350 hp in those hemi's, they are rather slow.

 

yea but i actually never raced a the hemi ones. only the V6's and they always seem to want to gas on me I don't understand it at all cuz they never win.

even though i would lose it would be fun to race a hem to see what it would actually do.

 

Space, I saw that exact one traveling through Michigan yesterday morning... it was a scary sight, thank god I was going the speed limit. =)

The Hemi's suck. They are over rated. The only Hemi I have seen that puts out, is the Hemi V10 Truck Daytona Edition, and the Viper. Everything else is over rated, and underpowered

 

honestly the hemis are not overated. these cars are pushing out 350 horses and 390lbs of torque. to get our montes to do that u have to do so many mods to it and it probably still won't be faster than the montes. with the charger all u have to do is put an exhaust on them and then hear that V8 growl. and those SRT 8 chargers are beasts. with 425 hp and 425lbs of torque and top speed being at around 175mph I think thats pretty quick.

 

1) That is CRANK HP, which means maybe, MAYBE around 300 hp at the wheels, and with the weight ratio, they are slow. mid 14 second quarter mile. A MILDLY modded monte runs mid 14's.

2) Sound means ****. Listen to the Evo's. They sound like ****, but run faster than hell. And the srt8's, with exhaust mods, will MAYBE run a mid 13 to low 13 second quarter. And that's all the faster they can really go until they start adding external power adders, or dropping weight.

3) Top speed, again, means ****. Who the hell goes 175? NO ONE, EVER. If you are going that fast on a road, you're a moron, and deserve to have your license taken away. Not to mention some newer cars have top speeds of 160, like the charger R/T, but still run slow as hell.

Look man those cars are still faster than our cars. I am not buying that your monte carlo is faster than a SRT 8 Charger. Im just not believing it.

And top speed is something that i know i would want to have. I bet you your top speed in your car is not 110 anymore..... You know why cuz you changed itbecause you wanted to go faster. and to be honest your a moron if you are going 110 mph in any car so what the hell do u mean. dont get it twisted i know about cars and i know that these monte carlos won't beat those chargers.

if you had the money to put in your car then i guarantee you would make your car as fast as it can be so don't say top speed like it isn't nothing. this is a site to learn and get info on how to make your monte carlo faster so it can be as fast as those chargers.

our cars are not light cars they are heavy too and we don't have almost 400 lbs of torque or 350 hp either so come on.

and at the end of the day its stilla v6.

Really you don't even know me enough to say i have tunnel vision. I asked a couple of questions thats is just to get them cleared up not because i was going to make the changes next week or something. You are the one who has modded your car to make is super fast and those chargers already come fast i don't care what u say. yea they are heavy but still are fast. a stock charger is a full second faster than the stock SC. if you don't believe methen check the numbers.ifyou put as muchmoney in the charger as you do a monte the charger is going to be faster plain and simple.

I think i know a little something.

Look here junior. I have dumped almost 11 grand into mine. And my car will be dynoed tomorrow afternoon.I GUARANTEE I would SMOKE THE EVERYLOVING **** OUT OF AN SRT8. I'll update when I push close to 340 HP at the wheels, and well over 380 ft pounds of torque at the wheels. I'll also update again once I run mid-low 12's at the track on March 29th of this year.
