For those of you with the ls4 and mods like tune, cai, headers, car back I'm interested to know if you have tested at the track? Curious to know the speed of a ls4 with the basic mods except turbo

 

Also anyone had their ls4 on a dyno?

 

The fastest stock ls4 ran a 13.5 iirc. Usually Dyno stock at 240 whp but most with cai, exhaust, and a tune (most common mods) are around 280whp

 

I have done neither dyno nor drag strip. I keep telling myself I'm going to take it to the drag strip and do a few passes but I have yet to do so.

I don't think Sam has run passes with his 07 at a drag strip yet, but he's putting down roughly 800 fwhp and 700 lb-ft of torque. His is turbocharged with a custom built de-stroked 401 ci block loosely based on the LS7, LS7X heads, etc.

True but it shows what can be done with the car. He has bead locks on the fronts to stop the front wheels from spinning inside the tires.

 

You could drop a 454 with tt if you wanted lol take a lot of fab but you can pretty much do anything with anything if that makes sense. Definitely a bad *** monte thi

 

that Monte is badass. I would like to see some track times on it in the future and see if he is faster than the Cartuning Monte that ran almost 11 flat.

 

Should be idk why they can't get them faster. Gtp's in the 8's I believe bit twins. Think there are some single turbos in 9's. Would love to see that in the track thi

 

no one has put the serious amount of money on them to make them that fast I suppose. the cartuning monte isn't anything too special besides the turbo and some supporting parts.
