ahhh, i see we got another one just joined. whatever dude, out of all the threads on this site, you decided to reply to this one?? can anybody say jackass?? also,(and im not defending myself to that dik) it was my understanding that those vortec 4.3's had some power?? okay, i just looked this up (its the same i raced)
190 hp (142 kW)/250 lb·ft (339 N·m) (VIN W)
and i mean, all i got is CAI, PCM, exhaust (for the majors) agian, this info is not directed to that dik, nor is it to defend myself.

wow didnt realize they were 190hp i thought that there was a bunch of different versions of that motor the hottest being the stick version of it that could be ordered on the extreme.

yeah there are three different versions i think the highest one puts out 195 HP
with 250 ft lbs. the other two have the same rating as above. anybody know if they are considered the 4300??

i would assume its the 4300 isnt that how the vortec motors are designated by cc?

it is just a vortec 4.3. no 4300. For some reason, the 3800 is the only one i can think of that they call out like that. I believe in the late 80's/ early 90's they did it to differentiate it between the less powerful previous year's 3.8's.

what about the 3100, 3400, 3500, and 3900?? im not like being rude or nothing, but is there something im missing here? did i not understand??
