2006 corvette z06vs 2001 monte carlo ss things did not go so well for me but i did not care i just wanted to see it fly this is only my 2nd loss in the mc so my prid was in tact but what if he would have missed a gearthat would be funny

I would have, I don't care what the car is, if it's up for it so am I. On a side note, I saw two Ferrari's today, one new looking one and the other was an older convertible deal, surprised me to see these two cars in Laramie, Wyoming. I would have gone for either if I ever managed to line up next to 'em.

The only time's I wouldn't try would be bad conditions, like too many other cars, cops, blizzard, that kinda stuff.

 

same here I would deff. go for it plus I dont drive my car unless its sunny and dry and over 50 degrees but yeah I would go for it if you loose then look at it as you need more power adders. lol at least you had the ***** to go for it. Most kids around my area wont even look at you unless they know there at least a second faster cuz everyones afraid to lose around my area it gets annoying some times when you want to play and know one wants to.

 

Even if I street raced I wouldn't try anything over a Mustang GT...lol. Especially a 'Vette Z06 or Ferarris. lol. You guys are brave. lol. I would ask them to start out in 5th gear.

 

At that level its not expected that you will win and you and the other guy both know it so its just for fun.

 

your not putting your pinks down on the race! hell, theres one kid in my small town that had a cop pull up to him at a red light (our ONLY stop light) and told him that he was going 5 over back a few blocks... and he wouldnt ticket him if he could beat him in a 3 block race. heck, it was 3 AM and both race sprint cars in the same circut, same races. the cruiser won, and well, the kid got off with a warning for trying.

 

i wouldn't have done what he did... i would have figured it was a trap and he was going to try to get me for street racing.

 

If I had mycousin's 98 WS6 that is built a little I would have tried, but I usally only try cars that I know it's going to be a good race. I don't want to be blown away and it's not really fun to blow cars away, even though sometimes it is.
