So i was on my way back from a game store on the strip and i come across this little ford probe. I have my buddy jim, his wife, and their two kids as well as me in the car, we totaled weight right about 900 pounds between the 5 of us, im 250, hes 210, his sons 150, and so on totalin up to the 900 punds. At first when i passed him i just gave a little engine rev, and got no result, then a few miles down the road, i see this red dot comin up on me quick. He gets to about my back bumper when i finally drop it down into first and at this point he has made it to about my back quarter panel and well, thats all the farther he made it, after that he returned to being just a little red dot. He caught up to me a few miles up at a red light and was dumb founded. LOL

 

lol... i'm not too impressed just yet now... i've known bicycles with the right gearing that could outrun a probe. there was a guy here who talked about the turbo he installed on his, the intercooler, all this work he had done to his probe... we went to hte 1/8 mile and he ran about a 12 second 1/8 where my runs a very low 10.

last time i saw it the whole front end was pulled off and all 4 wheels were missing. maybe that turbo and slotted roters are finally getting installed. lol

 

Probes are ok! I would take a V6 probe over a V6 mustang! Doesn't suprise me you beat him..The only cars that like to challenge me are BMWs and Audis [sm=alcoholic.gif]

lol it takes ALOT of egging on to get pretty much anyone around here to race me, i think the only reason the guy did is cuz he saw i had a full car load of people lol

lol yea, i mean the car is prolly a good thousand pounds heavier than the probe to start, then u add another damn near 1000 on top of that and u have 2 more tons compared to that little probe...

 

yeah LOL...they are quick but not that quick...

 

Sounds like the race I had against ont of those electric Prius, lol. Really though, cant be to careful with kids in the car.
