What do you guys think. My stock 305 SBC with KNN airfilter andflowmastersverse a '99 S-10 with I think flowmasters, he says cam but I doubt it, throttle body spacer and maybe some other little crap. I think he said its like a 285.He thinks he can get me any way we race because my monte has 180k plus miles. The guy I bought it from drove the dang thing like a grandma. Once I get my system all done (2 Kicker C10's, 350w Rockford amp, and Kenwood KDC990 head unit) me and him are going to go and see who can eat their words. He always gives me crap because his truck does some nasty burnouts but he never wants to race. I've road in the truck and it's got some pickup but its just a V6 S-10. Any thoughts? suggestions?

 

Well, he's a V6 S-10... i'd say probably. Trucks do good burnouts because there is very little weight on teh rear wheels compared to most vehicles.. of course they'll burn out, theres not much traction. Your friend probably knowsthis. I'd say you can take it.
