Mine was unpainted all around - they didn't start painting the front and rears until 2004 on the LS models.

what exactly did your body guy do then? he had to have smoothed them or something. It looks like he took them off and the stock ones aren't even there, maybe filled the spaces also?

You wouldn't gouge them with simple sanding, but the stock ones definitely have a small texture to them

They do - but it's not noticeable once they're painted. They do have a slight textured feeling but visually, they look like they do on the SS models.

He didn't do any sanding. He removed the rockers and the whole bumper covers for painting - washed them with alcohol and painted/cleared them.

Ignore the off color on the passenger door - that needs redone - the body shop that repaired the accident damage from the previous owner did a terrible job.

As someone else said you would need all 4 pieces. The pace car, driver editions and the supercharged ss models had the hi-sport kit. The ss just had a lower molding without any kind of overhang. Some people do just the front and rear tho and it looks ok.

Mike, that looks great, I think I'll sand mine down and have them painted hopefully, save me from buying some from an SS
