I am looking for a Dale Earnhardt Edition spoiler for my 2000 Monte Carlo SS. I found a JSP brand for sale for 150 but was going to see if I could get on for cheaper...Thanks

I guess I don't know exactly what a "Dale Earnhardt Edition spoiler" is. Are you talking about the vertical "race inspired" spoiler that comes on all 6th gen's with the "high sport appearance" package?


That's a standard spoiler as I stated above, just not the flat "surf board" spoiler.
Make sure you check out shipping costs. Personally, I'd look for a used one at a salvage yard.

 

Yeah guys, i think that's what he's looking for- the Pace car spoiler.
I've never seen a Dale Sr with a "surfboard" spoiler.
If you're getting one from online, considering not just shipping but prime/paint aswell?

 

if you have the surf board spoiler, consider getting the 2006+ "NASCAR" spoiler. It will bolt right up and you don;t have to worry about filling in the holes.

To: Rockn04SS yea I am looking for that one, the reason I referred to it as the "Dale Earnhardt Edition" is because that is the one I always see on the NASCAR special SS's

 

Okay, so as it's already been stated, if you got the pace-car spoiler (you can find THOSE anywhere, ebay, pfyc.com, andyautosports.com, etc. etc.) the holes won't match up to the holes of your flat "surfboard" style spoiler. So prepare to have to paint, and get holes filled in / new ones made.

Unless you can find a spoiler that is from the 06,07 Monte Carlo, that will bolt right up to your existing holes, but they are VERY hard to find because no one makes the aftermarket spoiler that matches those. They usually just say fits 00-07 but really it's the pace-car spoiler from the 01-05 Montes that do not line up.
