Just trying to help, and if you need battery and wiring help I'm sure the above mentioned member could help with that also.

For sure that's cheap. They are legit though, I've heard of quite a few people running their alts. I can't comment on the quality of them though.

i dont think thats that cheap, I had another quote for a 220 amp alt for about 280+ shipping from some website AND they claimed that was a high end model, so i kinda figuire 300 is the price range for a higher end 220 amp alt, but this was a bit cheaper. hopefully i dont end up getting jipped, but i think if your spending more then 350$ on an high output alt on any car your getting ripped.

it kind of became a nessesasity when i have a 2000 sound system i cant listen to because it literly drains my system so hard, at idle the car shuts off lol, and with the fan and ac pump on, forget it, never seen a car shut off like that. damn fangled computers and junk in it lol never owned a car so new so not used to that kinda crap. in my old car if it got low it would just effect the amp not my damn ignition system.

just so you know i paid $550 for mine it was custom made and I did up grade all the wiring to o gage i can get you the manufacturer out here in Portland Or. if you want
I just did not feel comfortable that if I got it off of ebay it would fit(right bolt pattern) / would be what they said it was or be super cheaply made
so I went to a friend that owns a stereo shop and the biggest he could get made was 200 amp

well DB electrical is a major brand of there own, and a website, and does returns, really the only risk i have is that it's cheaply made and blows after 10k miles or something. if it's doa, or doesnt fit i can just return it, but i did speak with them and he was very knolagable, there are 2 dif systems in the year of car i have, theres bosch unit or a delco, the delco uses 2 prong connecotr for the car harness conection, the bosch uses 4, mines the bosch.
