Wanted to Buy Exhaust System

Wanted to Buy Exhaust System
I know someone here has a 2004 SS supercharged exhaust system sitting in the corner of their garage that they would like to sell me.
Mine has a leak and I cannot find it, so I would probably rather just replace the whole thing. It doesn't look very complicated.
Reply if you are in the Chicago area and have what I am looking for.

There's a good chance your leak is in the resonator, I know a lot of people have the top of their resonator go on them. It's what happened to me.
I'm going to move this thread to the WTB section.

why not just have all custom piping redone so then you get the sound you're looking for too...that way you have the sized piping you want, the sound you want, and it may even be a little cheaper

Thank you for moving this to the WTB section.
I am not interested in getting custom exhaust. I love the original sound. However, what would it sound like without the resonator? If that is bad, I would have an exhaust shot replace it with pipe.

Great news. I got under the Monte Carlo today and noticed the seam along the side of the resonator was open in a small section. I started the car and sure enough, that is where the leak is. I went to a local auto parts store and bought some Versachem tiger patch. Worked great.

I was told wrong????
I was told by Merlins on the Supercharged I could not remove the resinator as I did on my 01 SS. Are they full of beans? If I do remove it can I just replace it with straight pipe like the 01?
