Default spoiler for 2000

I would like a spoiler that is pointed up I do not want the flat style spoiler. I also would prefer it to be black oem. So I do not have to hassle with painting and priming. Just want to install it and be done with it. Please reply or message me if you have one or can get one with a reasonable price. Thank you.

What you will need is one from a 2006 or 2007 Monte Carlo.

Unfortunately it's not as easy as just unbolting your current and putting this one on though. The sizes are a little different and the trunk-lid will be messed up

6th gen doesnt match up with 7th gen, diff bolt patterns. He should be able to use a 6th gen one with his I believe if im not correct, or he can take a trunk lid and use that with the spoiler lol.

The 7th gen ('06-'07) vertical spoiler does use the same exact bolt pattern as the '00-'07 horizontal/surfboard spoiler. This makes that very desirable if he alreay has a surfboard spoiler, but he will need some paint work done to the trunk lid.

If he has a surf spoiler and gets and '00-'05 vertical spoiler, it's time for a new trunk lid or filling the old holes.

And if he has no spoiler, any will work, just drill your own holes.

Well I currently have no spoiler at all, therefore I will have to drill new holes in order to do this. I can buy one online primed and all for 70 bucks, but I have to paint it black to match my car though. I really am trying to find one already painted and ready to drill for a price around that genre. Are you sure an 06 spoiler would work I thought the 06's have a straight trunk bed while the 00-05 have a curved trunk bed. Am I right or am I wrong?

Chibi and I both have an '06-'07 vertical spoiler on a '00 and '04 Monte, sit does work. Also, the surf spoiler is the same for the '00 all the way through the '07.

Take a look at this link:

Ahhh I thought I read that you don't want YOUR flat style spoiler.

Then yes, you are fine with any of them since you have to drill.

And the 06-07 does use the same holes as the flat spoiler. I used to have it, thought it looked terrible.
