hey guys as most of you know i brand new to the forum and to monte carlo's in general.. i am looking for used mods to bolt on... specifically:

CAI
Headers/Downpipe (3")
North* TB

before you getting the N* tb, you need the adaptor plate for it. it won't just bolt on just like that. the blower will inlet/out need to port out to 75mm to match up to the N* opening. depending on the year on the N* you want to use. the older N* you can use are found on 96-99 olds aurora, seville, deville, and eldorado. the newer N* tb can be found on the same caddie as list from 2000 and up. the junk yard is the best place to find it.

i don't know how heavy of a mods you going, but for starter here's what i would get:

pcm
dp or headers..if you can afford headers i get that instead.
cai..save money make your own
180*
autolite plugs #605/#104
pulley

btw i do have extra zzp pcm i'm looking to sell

 

thanks silver i got almost everything on your list except the pcm... i bought a cai though used for 110 dollars (has the extra hoses for the maf in case i choose to get a north* tb later down the line) and the guy is sending me his old pulley for free. what do you mean by a new pcm? do you mean just get a good tune? because i am looking for a tuner now so i can tune my car myself whenever i bolt on/install a new mod instead of taking it to be done professionally all the time... thanks
