What is so special about the dale Jr. Rims? Aren't they just a chrome version of the 5 spoke MC wheel. Same as the Impala Indy edition? Don't get me wrong, I think they are nice, but seems people are always asking about them. Correct me if I am out of line!

 

This is what the Dale Jr & Tony Stewart rims look like Jerry, there the black & silver ones, Intimidators have chrome & most SS SC montes have polished which i like the best

Dales are chrome. Jr and stewart are machined with black inserts yes? Paint the inserts on yours and wax the **** out of it. Or get them chromed then paint them to give the nice shiny look. Use a gloss black tho. Chrome dip doesn't cost to much. I have been thinking about stripping alot of parts off my monte and chroming everything but it is an intimidator so I dont want to offend dale.

 

They are painted I believe, not inserts, also please remember that this site is considered a 'family site' so please try to keep the swearing to a minimum


i'd say just paint them, the lines are already pretty obvious, so laying down some tape to paint would be pretty easy, then just clear coat the whole rim for a smooth finish

 

The inside of the spoke is what I meant by the insert. and the window (outside the spoke) is painted to.
