Unhappy 6th gen STOCK roof rails - BLACK

I have a 2002 black monte carlo ss, and the glue of the passenger side roof rail must have gotten loose, and the rail came up while on the highway, and the air made it bend back. Right now I have it taped down, but I want to get rid of the tape (ugly ) and get a new one

I do really like the rare roof rails, but I don't have anywhere near $200+ to spend on this :/

the driver side one is perfectly fine.

kinda sucks, never seen that happen before? The tape you used looks pretty pathetic, couldn't you find anything better to temporarily tape it down......

I guess it's better than nothing.....

Actually that tape is pretty nice. Its sticks really good, and when you peel it off, it doesnt leave any residue at all. It is really nice.

You can actually just rip it out and drive around without much troubles.

I wouldn't bother looking for roof rails if you are on a budget, you can get those moldings for like $20

If I just ripped it out and left it out, it would look kind of ugly I think (maybe look better than that tape tho. haha)

Would you know where I can get the moldings?

Any dealership should be able to get you the moldings. They might come as black plastic and need to be painted, but it honestly might not look terrible if you kept it black plastic.

Umm...sorry, I'm just a little bit confused as to what all that means. Haha

Can you explain what those two prices are for exactly? Thanks
