Default Upper Intake (new) and gasket set. 6 Gen

I have a new improved Intake Manifold and Fel Pro Gasket set as well is upper intake bolts. This is supposed to be beefed up around the EGR and not be as prone to heat. I was going to put this on my 02 but sold it.

I will not fit my Son's Monte because he has a 3.4L

$60 shipped in the contiguous States.

This includes the new/revised aluminum LIM gasket AND a revised Lower Intake Manifold itself? Is it helpful/necessary to replace the manifold in addition to the gasket?

About how old do you think these are?

It is the upper plastic intake manifold with a Felpro gasket set which are the desired aluminum ones. I just bought these about 5 months ago. I was going to install them when I had about 30k on my Monte.

What brand is the UIM?
APN is supposed to be the more durable, but at $60 shipped for everything you have BRAND NEW is a DEAL! I think that LIM gaskets are worth that alone.

Great deal for someone in need!

I think it is the same as in the link below -

New Dorman Redesigned Upper Intake Manifold Plenum for GM 3 8L 3800 Series II | eBay

It came with it's own gasket set and the bought the lower gasket set and upper bolts seperately.

It definitely does look like quite a deal! I'm thinking that I am going to (may need to) replace my gaskets soon, but I'm not sure that I want/need to replace the manifold itself right now.

GLWS!

FYI - He is selling the Fel-Pro aluminum gaskets LIM gaskets (best you can buy). Those alone via RockAuto are $50+shipping. He is offering a heck of a bargain on these parts, everything for $60 shipped! If I knew anyone in need of these parts (even just the LIM gaskets), I'd have them all over this deal!

Just a word of warning, if this is a Dorman UIM, and you have an HV3, it will not work in the new UIM.

All,
I don't want anyone to buy these do the work and have fitment issues so therefore they are no longer for sale. I will hang on to them incase I get another Monte for a daily driver when my lease is up next December.

Thanks!

There are ZERO fitment issues with this on a stock Monte 3800 Series II L36. What Chibi mentioned is if people add the HV3 insert (a performance mod from ZZP). I know a couple who have used the Dorman UIM, bolts right up like the factory original.

Unless you plan to buy another 3800 Series II car, these will sit and collect dust. I personally suggest that you keep your sale going. If you want to put a disclaimer, just state "Will not work with ZZP's HV3". There are a lot of people that are unmodded and don't plan to mod.
