Default Checking Interest: Modded Flasher for LED turn signals

Group,

I am able to mod flashers to have a plug and play answer to solve "hyper flashing" when installing LED turn signal bulbs. This means NO splicing wiring, NO adding resistors, just swap out the flasher module (which is also the hazard switch) and the flash rate is restored to normal. I can do this for:
00-05 - Monte Carlos
00-05 - Impalas
99-05 - Grand Ams
99-04 - Alero
97-04 - Malibu

If I were to do some for the Monte Carlo, $40 shipped, is there any interest?

I'd be interested. Would let me get rid of my resistors.

Absolutely. What is the time line as far as when you are able to do it?

Unfortunately, at the moment I don't have the time to go to the junkyard and source Monte flasher modules to mod (last time I was there, they only had two Montes and the flashers were removed). I probably won't have a chance to go to the junk yard in about a month. BUT, what I can offer, if you want to ship me your flasher module, I can mod it and then ship it back to you. I would be willing to do this for $35 (that includes the return shipping).

Group, I will go into detail later, but I can confirm the Monte/Impala/Grand Am/Corvette flash for overlapping years is IDENTICAL! I already knew the electronics were identical. I recently went to the junk yard and got one Monte flasher (sadly, does not work). But I compared it to the Impala and Grand Am ones I got. The only difference, the Monte ones have a tiny diffuser that the others don't have. But all the buttons are interchangeable.

This being said, one I mod the latest batch of flashers, I can sell ones that will work for the 00-05 Monte, even though they are for a different car.

OK group, sorry for the delay. I have modded flashers for the 00-05 Monte Carlos and Impalas! You will need to re-use your original flasher button. It's plug and play and allows for use with LED lights.
