Nice find. I agree they have the potential to look good on a '00+ Monte (Goth Kid put a pair on his white Grand Prix and I think that came out pretty cool).

I'm not ambitious enough to try this project myself, but for those who are, what are you asking per pair?

This could be a very cool Idea. I wouldn't mind trying to make a set work on mine.

have one set left. who wants to set their monte apart from the herd of sheep. don't be scare it's just a hood you can't mess up here's my old jeep first time i grenade the precious hood. this was another rare vents off a 85-86 lebaron/ new yorker turbo model. these are the popular vents for the cherokee xj. probably not the right hood to put on the monte. just give you idea that hood vents not only help vent out under hood heats but looks good.

I always thought I would like to do some hood vents too, but my fiberglass hood is weird in that it is thick in spots and has channels and such all over underneath. It was a bear just to install the hood pins.

You need to make sure the vents you buy will actually work. Sam bought some Ol' school Camaro hood vents for his 07 Monte and they could not be made to work due to the hood curvature and the design of the Camaro vents. He ended up getting some Mustang GT500 vents and they worked real well.

But I bet it would be sick to see these or some other vents on your Monte Zach, that's about where your car is at now, what else can you do that is pretty rarely done on a Monte and has a wow factor.

I would jump on these Lumina vents in a heartbeat for my Monte if I thought they had a chance to work, they are so rare to ever find.

Sam's 07 Monster 817WHP Turbocharged Monte with the GT500 heat extractor venting. Notice he has grafted on an Impala nose for the increased air flow.
