Default 2004 Monte Carlo LS

I have my 2004 Monte Carlo LS that I am contemplating selling.

It has just under 91k miles on it right now - the car has been with our family since it had 14k miles and was originally a Minnesota car.

It is clean, always taken care of, the underbody is undercoated to help protect in these Wisconsin winters.

The car has always had synthetic oil changes every 3000 miles and runs great to this day.

Upgrades to the car:

-OEM Foglights
-Kenwood DDX514 In-dash touchscreen
+iPod connection
+Bypassed stock amp
+Reverse Camera
+Premium sound
-SS Gauge Cluster with red LEDs
-Dual Exhaust with 4" SLP Stainless Exhaust Tips
+18" Resonator (Nice deep sound at idle, mellow under load)
+Summit Racing 'stock' mufflers
-Gutted Intake Box with brand new filter (<2k miles on the filter)
+The box is still sealed off the the elements but it is just opened up and makes a deeper groan under load.
-Weather-tech Floor Mats
-Interior LEDs - All white
-Autodimming Mirror
-SLP Upper Grille - Body Color Matched
-Custom Painted Stock Rims

The car is nearly 10 years old, so of course it has it's flaws... It's basically been driven all highway, my dad had a 120 mile commute there and back when he drove it before me and I have only put 12k miles on it in the last 4 years (to give you an idea of how lightly it is driven now).

It does have it's occasional rock chip (most have been corrected with the Dr. ColorChip system) and some minor dents. Other than that the car is clean and has always been washed and waxed on a consistent basis.

Here are some pictures of the car currently:

(SLP Lower Grille is pictured but will not be offered at this time)

I am asking $5500 OBO. KBB for the car is $5,770 in 'Good' condition, personally I would rate it above good, but I may be a little biased.

I may be interested in cars of a lesser value with cash on your side. Not looking for anything straight up. Also, looking for 4th Gen Camaros or WS6's, must be M6, SS or WS6 models and of course cash would be on my side.

Let me know if you're interested or what you may have!

Any particular reason why you are selling it?

I have an internship this summer in Milwaukee and I will more than likely be putting a large amount of miles on it. I don't really want to put the miles on the car because of the relatively low miles on the car and I don't really want to beat the car up on the Milwaukee streets (too many people are careless when parking on the streets).

So really I'm looking for something with a bit higher miles that I'm not going to worry about so much on the streets in Milwaukee.

Even 100k is low mileage for a ten year old car nowadays. And it looks spectacular for its age. Unless you sell it to a true monte enthusiast, chances are it will have aged 5 years after just a couple of months. Do what you must... but I would really hate to see a car like that ruined

Thanks for the kind words, if I don't get reasonable offers for it, it will be daily driven and taken care of as it has been to this date

Send the Monte down here, I'll babysit her for you lol. And maybe put a REAL system in.

Good luck, either way.
