===== Leather seats, sun roof, power everything, CD/cassette player, no A/C, and a big dent in the fender.
In excellent condition, this car is worth between $2500 and $3500. This car, however, in *not* in excellent condition. It's not even in *good* condition. It is, in my opinion, in "fair" condition. This is thanks to a non-functional A/C compressor and a good-sized dent in the front passenger-side fender. Everything else runs well, and a car of this age will have other dings and small rust spots, but these two issues definitely make this a "fair" car. According to Kelley Blue Book, this car, in fair condition, is worth between $1000 and $2300. I'd love to get $2300, you'd love to pay $1000. Let's meet in the middle: $1600.
The A/C compressor is a $268 part at Advance Auto (https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/x/11893892-P). But it's fall! Who needs A/C? Even in when I was driving it this past summer, with both windows down and the sun roof open, life was just fine. (See what I did there? "Fine"? Like the car's condition? Anyway...)
A replacement fender can be had (unpainted and primed in black) for under $100 (https://www.carid.com/2002-chevy-mon...er=1&sub-model[ourSubModelName][]=SS). Or, a few hours and a dead-blow hammer will get it awfully close without needing a paint job. Or, you can leave it as it is like *I* did for the last three years without issue.
In any case, I'm driving a different car now. It is fun to drive and handles well, but I don't need it anymore. Contact me and make it yours!
