They make a lower piece that is black and slips over the part that you have blacked out. I say chrome it. New tech allows you to chrome plate even plastic. I was thinking of getting a SLP grill and the lower insert and chroming them both. I think it would look cool.

i have topost something cause i dieing laughing about dave 92 s comment but i am up in the air myself was looking at mine thinking to black it all out but i kind of like this cause it makes it look like they are not there so it is different...go for it and you can add the rest if you get tired of it and dont get any good comments about it lol....

Thanks for the input everyone. I don't think I'll black out the entire grille. It seems to be too common and to be honest in my opinion only looks good on certain colored vehicles. Painting the entire car black is out also. I kind of like the look of having the horizontal bar visable, but I need to do some more thinking on it before I make a decision.
