Default Windshield Decal

I am thinking about purchasing and putting the Monte Carlo windshield decal on the 2002.
It appears this would be a fairly simple process. For those who have applied one of these, do you have any tips for applying this decal?
I think it would look very nice on my car.

I had one on another car I owned. Window must be super clean, Position the decal in place with masking tape before removing the backing, use a plastic card to carefully force out air pockets under the film as you remove the backing

Thank you. I am hoping the backing is split in the middle. Thinking it would be best to go from the center outward when applying.

I have applied several decals on vehicles and a race car part or two. They always told me to use a soap solution in a spray bottle first, apply it to the surface of the area you want the decal to go. Then you can adjust it to the proper location on the surface. I have used this method and it works well. Once it is down and you have smoothed the decal with a plastic applicator ( similar to a plastic bondo applicator). The sign shops in your area will have these. Then you can wipe it down with a clear water solution, to clean it up.

Have you had any trouble with it trying to come loose or anything with temperature change, etc?
